  Highly Recommended!
  I used Spitting Pig Hertfordshire to cater for my Husbands surprise 40th birthday party. Right from the start Steve was so helpful and accommodating, helping me choose the right menu for my one hundred guests and talking me through the logistics of the day.
  I decided to host the party at my house, this worked out perfectly as my husband works a full day on a Saturday, so when Steve and Karen arrived at the house early Saturday morning hubby was non the wiser.
  I decided to go with a traditional hog roast, along with coleslaw, potato salad, green leaf salad and asparagus tart for my vegetarian guests.
  I was impressed that the hog was cooked from fresh on site for myself and my quests to see, this was one of the main reasons I chose Spitting Pig Hertfordshire, its a truly medieval sight, so theatrical. My guests were so impressed.
  The food was fantastic, everything was prepared fresh on site, even the beautiful asparagus tart, the pastry was to die for. My vegetarian guests we overjoyed that they were so well catered for. I have to say a special thank you to Karen (Steve's wife) for the cooking of the tart. Even though I am I am a meat eater I just had to try the veggie option. Delish.
  The hog itself was unbelievable, packed with flavour, juicy and tender. The crackling was quite frankly the best I had tasted, salty and crispy, just how I like it.
  My husband was so pleased, Steve and Karen really did make his special day even more wonderful.
  I cannot recommend enough!

  Amazing! From our first inquiry this company was fantastic. Steve was so helpful and went through everything and at no time did he try to push us into spending extra than we had planned. Alan and Brandon were the Chefs for our wedding party (which was held in our back garden). They really were very professional as well as being friendly to everyone who came. They really were part of our special day and the guests commented on how lovely they were too. The food was so delicious. The actual hog roast had so much meat with practically every part of the pig used. The pulled pork in BBQ sauce was mouth watering. The salads and sides were tasty too (and I've been told the vegetarian options were great). Alan and Brandon cleared up perfectly afterwards and prepared the left overs into joints and dishes for us to use after the wedding. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company, they really did help in making our wedding the most fantastic day we could have ever hoped for. Thank you!
