    This voucher was given as a gift. Having eventually found a hotel in the area my parents wanted to stay that had parking facilities, we made the booking. The room details do not give an full explanation of the differences between the room prices. I looked on the hotel's own website to try and find out only to find the 'Club Double Room' we had booked is not listed on the room types at the hotel. While doing this I noticed that parking at the hotel is actually charged at £20 per 24 hrs making an additional cost of £40.00 for my parents break. I have emailed Hotel Voucher Shop twice to try and query this. I have an automated response saying they aim to respond in 24-48 hrs. The first email was sent 10 days ago and I have not heard anything. They also state they are primarily an on line service, but do not respond to emails.. I would avoid this company in the future. You can get a better room price and be confident of what is included by going direct to the hotel.

    The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought a voucher for mum’s 80th Birthday. Unable to book online, emails and voice messages not replied to. It was supposed to be a wonderful present but it has turned into a costly nightmare. I will be insisting on a refund.
    Please don’t book with them. It’s been a very stressful experience.

    Awful service and a nightmare to deal with.
    1. They charge well over the odds. I’m my case, the hotel was £50 more expensive through them than going direct with the hotel.
    2. Using their website is so difficult and at times it just doesn’t work at all.
    3. When we actually got to the hotel, it turned it that they hadn’t paid them for the booking. So the hotel tried to charge us again. Make sure you keep all your confirmation emails if you have the misfortune of having to use this company.
    4. They use premium phone numbers, so any calls you make to them (which will probably be a few) will cost you dearly.
    From my experience I would strongly suggest you do not use them.
